Dr. Partrite is a California native, born in Santa Barbara and living in the nearby city of Ventura through high school. He then went to the University of California at Davis for undergraduate studies and finished in 4 years with a near 4.0 GPA and a degree in Biochemistry. After a year off to travel and unwind before entering Dental School, the University of California at San Francisco came next for a D.D.S. degree. Loving the bay area, Dr. Partrite stayed and decided this is the place to live and raise a family.
In dental school, Dr. Partrite realized that the “old school” ways of dentistry was not how he wanted to practice; metal restorative materials that were unaesthetic. After a few years of practicing in modern dental offices, Dr. Partrite furthered his venture into Holistic practices by seeking out further education from Dr. Hal Huggins and the International Academy of Oral and Medical Toxicology. This was eye opening, and made Dr. Partrite realize that there is a whole lot more to dentistry than teeth. Dr. Partrite also has teamed up with the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies to learn far more in depth about non-metal and cosmetic dentistry, which fits very well into the Holistic philosophies endorsed here at New Era Dentistry.
With nearly a decade of experience, Dr. Partrite continues to commit a lot of time to continuing education. He has averaged nearly 75 hours of C.E. per year, which is almost 3 times what is required by the state of California. Dr. Partrite has a true passion for knowledge and how to make dentistry better for his patients.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Partrite enjoys spending time with his wife Audrey and their two children, Taylor and Lucas. Dr. Partrite is also a musician, having played the piano and the guitar since he was 5 years old.
